Not only has the past two years seen an upsurge in Hartest & Coldham Hall Cricket Club but at Lords where I was privileged to be on Bank Holiday Monday in the Long room in the Pavilion where you are steeped in cricketing history Suffolk very much like HCCC were the underdogs against Cheshire and against all odds won.
Check out some of the photographs in the right hand side of the website where it says Photographs of the season to celebrate a golden era for Suffolk Cricket at Lords.

Directions to Mellis.
They are actually playing in Mellis.
Out of Bury on the A143 towards Diss. When you get to Wortham look for the Dolphin pub on the right (Strongers £2.70). After the pub there is a sign to Mellis on the right. As you come into Mellis the pitch is on the right but parking etc is a little way further up the road at the Village Hall.
See you Sunday,
