Training Sessions Announced 2008

When you thought it was all over its only just beginning plans for the 2008 season are under way with the announcement of the training sessions to be held at Culford School Sports Centre.

PLEASE MAKE A NOTE OF THESE DATES IN YOUR DIARY !!!!!!!!

The first countdown is on:

25th March 2008 Time 20.00 to 22.00 at Culford School Sports Centre.

1st April 2008 Time 20.00 to 22.00 at Culford School Sports Centre.

8th April 2008 Time 20.00 to 22.00 at Culford School Sports Centre.

15th April 2008 Time 20.00 to 22.00 at Culford School Sports Centre.

There are 4 sessions of two hours and we will need them so please make an effort to attend for

those so far away I realise it will be difficult but if you can any it will be worth it.

Please do not keep this a secret if you know somebody who would like to come and have a trial

please invite them as we will need to bolster the squad where we can.




With HCCC now in the Second Division which is an amazing achievement we surely want to at the

very least is to secure are position in that league which will take as great an effort as in winning

promotion so the training and getting off to a good start is essential.



To secure our position or higher will be as big a pleasing feeling as gaining promotion in the 2007

season.



There will be updates and reminders from time to time on the web site and please tell your friends and family to keep an eye on us and to visit and support the team next season at the Peter Richards Oval.

Any old pictures or stories of the past you have send them to me and I am still looking for any old score books with a history of the club would be good to have too.

There have been some changes to the site with a few more to come and one point I am aware of is the Radio which has moved to the right hand side of the site and to mute the music just hit the pause button which looks like this II for those who sneak a look while at work! perish the thought.

Also as this is a family friendly site please any special family arrivals or announcement please contact me.

Phew this a big one but please take some notes of the training sessions and please invite anyone who fancies a game as the skipper would tell you always getting enough every week isn't an easy task sometimes and we should always turn up with eleven players.

At this point I am unaware if there is a Cricket dinner I know there has been some difficulty with dates etc perhaps a night down the pub? Something simple? may be another option.
