Fixtures for the 2015 Season Now Out

Sad  News

As many people know the passing of Jo Ford landlady of the Shimpling Bush recently was a shock to us all and the Hartest and Coldham Hall Cricket Club passes on their condolences to all family and friends at this sad time.

Cricket News

The fixtures are now out for Hartest and Coldham Hall Cricket Club playing in Division Two of the Hunts County League, yes we were promoted up into Division Two after finishing 4th in the League behind, Bardwell, Acton, and Long Melford.

The fear of what happened before when we were promoted with luck should not happen again based on the fact that we actually beat a couple of the sides that finished above us plus Haverhill first team were put into that league that year, this time it is their second eleven so let's remain optimistic that it will be a challenge but not impossible to get the results needed.

We start as per usual with a friendly against Exning CC our good friends are hosting the game[19th April]  which is always a great way to start similar to the Wembley charity shield game to start a new season plus an opportunity to get the cob webs out of the system before the new season starts for real a week later.

The end of Season dinner is scheduled to happen on January 24th 2015 with Rosie Roberts organising it this time, and the AGM will also be in the new year with a date to be set by the skipper.
