Hartest and Coldham Hall CC    156 All Out

Roberts 40, Carter 28, P Richards 24.

Rougham CC     162 For 3

S Hurst 72, A Longfield 49.

On  a rain affected day where both skippers agreed to reduce the game to 30 overs and Rougham seemingly only having eight players decided to field after winning the toss.

Roberts and Carter opened the batting and made a solid start moving the score nicely onto 52 before the first wicket and just as three Rougham players found the ground who were the opening bowlers who quickly came on and gained some control of the decent early run rate.

Peter Richards who had put a lot of work in the early part of the day sorting out the pitch and doing a fantastic job was up for the challenge and went up the order.

While on the doing a fantastic job, Zoe with help from Steve Ryder and friends did a super tea especially with the game on or off with the weather, plus help from Rosie in the clearing up department.

Peter score a very good 24 as the skipper fell shortly after for 15, and only Charlie Long with a good 22 really troubled the score, as the 30 overs was approaching the boys tried to get as many runs but were all out after Rutter was run out by M Atkinson, the total reaching 156 all out.

After tea Andy Longfield and partner S Hurst basically started like a 20 /20 match and a couple of chances to get Longfield went by but Rougham were in control and the game was won by the 15th over and only after the 18th over was the first wicket taken with the score on 117 for 1.

Roberts who took the wicket went on to get two more but the game had long since passed, the introduction of Jordan Marlow who bowled very well and will again along with two very good taken catches helped with Roberts getting his and the teams only 3 wickets.

Ian Copping played and thank you to him for stepping in and fielded very well when the ball came his way.
