The above came through today from the Captain for the End of Season function, as he commented it would be great to see you all there if you can make it, please if you could respond to him as soon as possible this would be a great help.

I need not put this bit but those who have experienced a meal at the Swan who are great supporters of the Cricket Club will I am sure not be disappointed.

The Captain has been a busy boy this week, those who have access to the Facebook cricket club page would have seen the fact we are now in Division Three of the Hunts County League.

There have been some new teams enter the League which is good news that the game is not diminishing, and there are five Leagues all but the top league having ten teams, the exception as I have said Division One only 9 teams.

Division 3 Teams are as follows;

Lakenheath
Milden
Hadleigh
Earl Stonham
Worlington
Thurston
Bury St Edmunds
Rougham
BSSSC
Hartest and Coldham Hall CC

Some old faces from the past, some recent some go back a few seasons but reasonably local from a travelling point of view, and an extra two games this season with only three weekends without a fixture, the need to encourage any new players to play a few games will be critical moving forward, however the AGM will decide that and will need support when the date is fixed.

So please let the Captain know re the Dinner would be fantastic.

Captain Ben Atkinson & Webmaster.
