End of Season Friendly with a comfortable win for Hartest and Coldhamm Hall CC in a game where both sides used squad players old and young ones for the future.
Always a sad end but with overcast conditions the game was finished albeit a bit on the chilly side and spare a thought for B Atkinson who came straight from airport to play football in the morning and cricket early start in the afternoon with jet lag and no sleep to top score with 23
plus as he pointed out he bowled a maiden over both in Orlando and in the game against Stansfield today.
The Local Pub The Compasses put on Roast spuds and gravy which on a chilly afternoon went down very well.
With the season over there will be an end of season dinner and the ever important AGM with plans in place for next season where hopefully it will be a return to Division Two!
