Captain's Final Blog - Star Date 9th September 2012



What a day! 160 for none in the 33rd turned into 197 all out and nick got a fifer.

 nige took us across the winning line with an over to spare, (and i hit some 6's).

 A great way to end the season and captaincy. Georgie raised £52 in her tom bola for st nics hospice, many thanks to those that put their hands in their pockets for a great cause!

 Nicks tea once again was award winning (3 types of sausage rolls wins everything - hands down!).

A date of the 5th January 2013 has been possibly designated for the Dinner please contact William via Text or Facebook to confirm or decline that date please as soon as possible.

A Full match report will appear at a later time due to late finish and discussions on the future of the club with finding new players and the very important roll of Captain for next season.

A few elder statesmen are meeting later this week to see where it can or cannot go in the future but fresh blood and players will be needed more will follow in due course.
