I am sorry to say that due to increasing work and family commitments, I will be standing down as Captain, and effectively retiring from playing for the club at the end of this season.
This has been a tough decision, but is the right one for my family and i at this stage.
I would like to thank everyone who has helped in any way with the club, from playing, to making teas, to preparing pitches, writing reports, attending meetings and supporters.
It has been a great honour to have been associated with the club and even more of a pleasure to have led the team as captain.
To my successor as captain and to the future players of the team i wish you all the best.
After my last game at home to Tuddenham next Sunday, I will arrange the season dinner and AGM.
This has been my 22nd season playing for the club, and i would like to say that I have loved every minute of it.
