The Bank Holiday traditional weather won with rain over night and not set to clear until late afternoon the game was postponed which was a sad end to the home campaign for the season.
With three away games left to the league season starting next week with Brockley a local derby match another win maybe required to ensure Division Two safety the team must stay focused to the end.
The league is still very tight that 3 wins could still gain H&CHCC promotion but it has been the the superb earlier home form that has been such a foundation for the first season in Division Two.
With all the home games now finished one league that was won by the H&CHCC club was the Teas as with unbiased opinion and tasting most of the other league teams teas H&CHCC was way out front in a league of there own and a big thank you to all the ladies and gents who made the tea interval such a great thing to look forward to.
The Richards Oval and the team of people who got the pitches ready please take a bow no pitch no game and with lots of runs and wickets all season the balance of the pitch was again just right. I am sure special mention once again goes to Peter and Son Jake who have spent hours on it with Nick Rutter and his overall help behind the scenes.
Still with 3 important away games to go and the season almost finished the team needs to find one more push to make sure the season ends successfully.
