Game Off v Long Melford CC
Our apologies to Long Melford CC as Hartest and Coldham Hall CC cannot raise a team to play this weekend, sorry Matt.
Hopefully a one off but lets keep trying to recruit new players as I have mentioned for the last few years, new players are the life blood of the club. [See below*]
*League rules suggest that a conceded game will very likely cost the club £50.00 paid within 14 days and an explanation to the Executive Committee, should a second game be conceded we will automatically be relegated and fined plus a third one could result in fines and thrown out of the league, hopefully a few new players may save the above scenario.
Well at least we will finally end up in Division three which is currently where we should be to be at least be competitive and make the games close and much more fun.
Next week we should entertain Cavendish CC at home, and if we can find another volunteer to do a half tea with Dickie Pearson [well done Dickie, worth more than a batting point and you know how much I love a batting point] then one of the three games not covered will be, leaving two more to sort out.
The 9th and 16th of July are the dates if anyone can help the club will be great, please liaise with the Captain, thank you.
